Schefflera has a fairly tall stem and a slender round crown. Scheffler contains skin irritants and this should be taken into account when caring for it.
 1. Lighting and placement.
 The plant, especially its variegated species, is demanding to light. Choose a well-lit place for him in the south (maybe in the west as well), but exclude direct sunlight.
 2. Temperature mode.
 Ideal for selection according to the seasons of the temperature regime: autumn to winter 15-18 Cº. 20-24 Cº for other seasons. But at home it is possible to get used to the same cold temperatures. In this case, ventilate the room often.
 3. Moisture and watering.
 In spring and summer the plant is watered 2-3 times a week. 1 week in autumn and winter. If the plant is at the same temperature for all seasons, then the watering regime does not change. Moisten the plant by spraying warm water on the leaves. It is also advisable to clean the leaves with a damp sponge. But we do it with work gloves. If the plant is in "cold winter" mode, then the spraying procedure is excluded.
 4. Fertilizer.
 For Schefflera they use ornamental fertilizer for deciduous plants. Once a month between March and August.
